Most children in orphanages are there because of poverty, not orphanhood.
The vast majority of children we call "orphans" have a surviving family or extended
member who would care for them if they only had the means to do so. Strengthening
families is the best way to meet the needs of orphans and other vulnerable children.
We believe changing the conversation can change the reality.

The Faith To Action Initiative mobilizes and educates churches, faith-based organizations
and individuals to engage in care that upholds the vital importance of family in a child's life.

We offer valuable resources that raise awareness about the limitations of orphanages,
help ministries strengthen family care, and share innovative ways to take action.
